Ravening Wolf
an ale from
Wantsum Brewery
This libation, which we categorise as a
'New Zealand Pale Ale'
(a Pale Ale), has an ABV of 5.9%.
Ravening Wolf was the nickname given to Odo, Earl of Kent and half brother of William the Conqueror - who was tried for defrauding the crown.
The ale is a strong New Zealand Pale Ale. Toasted biscuit and rye malt flavours support a pine lemon hop crispness with a hint of vanilla.
So far, this is one of 41 beers from Wantsum Brewery that have been sold at the Bake & Alehouse.
To date, the Bake & Alehouse has supplied -
From THIS brewery:
One ale stronger than this
37 ales with a lower ABV
2 ales with an unrecorded strength
From ALL breweries:
8 stronger ales
One ale of the same strengh
758 weaker ales
13 ales with an unrecorded strength
Records indicate that this drink has been available in the Bake and Alehouse, on over 45 seperate occasions, since August 2012
