This drink, which we define as an 'American Style, Crafted Red Ale' (a Red Ale), has a strength of 4.3% ABV.
Theakston\'s old Victorian brewery having a small batch nature means they have the chance to develop and brew a wide range of recipes, featuring an abundance of new styles of cereals and hops
Long impressed by the crisp and refreshing character of the cereal Rye, and with the combination of Pilgrim hops with other ingredients and the famous Theakston yeast strain, they have created a full bodied, spicy brew using as the principal cereal, the hardy Rye plant which they are sure will delight their customers!
This is currently a Seasonal Ale.
