This drink, which we define as a 'Specially Crafted IPS' (an IPA), has a strength of 4.5% ABV.
This ale is crafted with Maris Otter Pale Ale and a hint of crystal, to give a golden colour with the balance of East Kent Goldings and First Gold Whole Hops, to give a refreshing citrus flavour, finished with a dry hop of Cascade to give a hint of grapefruit.
A seasonal ale, brewed between March and September, this is something to quench the thirst of any discerning drinker and to suit the warmer climate. Lighter in appearance and offering a lovely golden glow – What man or woman doesn’t want a bit of a challenge followed by a bit of sweetness to soften the blow?
Ripple Steam IPA offers a very hoppy tasting bitter and then the sweetness kicks in at the back of the throat… Follow the dream – try Ripple Steam!!
