This drink, which we define as a 'Strong Premium Ale,' has a strength of 5% ABV.
Originally launched winter 1999 (hence the MM) is brewed to the exact same recipe as the brewery's original Norman's Conquest, however at a lower ABV. It shares all the bigger brothers' character and is dark, mature and smooth.
So far, this is one of 17 beers from Cottage Brewing that have been sold at the Bake & Alehouse. Whilst not the strongest ale sold at the Bake and Alehouse, this beverage has the highest ABV from this brewery (to date, here have been 52 ales with a higher ABV supplied at the Bake and Alehouse).
