Pig on the Wall
an ale from
Black Country Ales
Pig on the Wall
This drink, which we define as a 'Chestnut Brown, Mild Ale' (a Mild), has an ABV of 4.3%.

A refreshing chestnut brown beer with a complex flavour of light hops giving way to a bittersweet blend of roasted malt.

There are suggestions of chocolate and coffee undertones.

To date, this is the only beer from Black Country Ales that has been available at the Bake & Alehouse and that means it is both the strongest and weakest beer supplied from Black Country Ales! To date, here have been 344 ales with a higher ABV supplied at the Bake and Alehouse.

To date, the Bake & Alehouse has supplied -

  • 344 stronger ales
  • 40 ales of this strength
  • 385 weaker ales
  • 13 ales with an unrecorded strength

  • Records indicate that a barrel of this drink has been available once in the Bake and Alehouse since August 2012
