Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds)
Like the Bake and Alehouse, the Ramsgate Brewery, also known as Gadds, is located on the Isle-of-Thanet here in East Kent.
Just ten years ago, this Brewery began life in the back of a Ramsgate boozer full of louts and ne'er-do-wells. After four years struggling away in the tight, smelly and smokey surroundings they became successful enough that they bought a big shed and set themselves up again (using their own words - they did it properly this time!).
Now they were bigger, better and bolder than before - brewing fresh, tasty, local ale for fresh, tasty locals. And, for some bizarre reason, it worked - it al worked better than anyone could have planned or hoped.
