This libation, which we class as a 'Kentish Best Bitter' (a Bitter), has a strength of 4.4% ABV.
This is a very simple ale - A traditional Kentish best bitter ale with an aroma of toffee malt and fresh green hops, that is full bodied and has a lingering bitter finish.
That might seem a simple description and infer that this is a 'simple' drink - but there is nothing simple about this drink. It just shows us that the traditional, 'old-fashioned' recipes are some of the best (this is a real ale - it's not one of those ghastly modern, cold, yellow, fizzy drinks that have no flavour, yet call themselves 'beer').
So far, this is one of 38 beers from Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds) that have been sold at the Bake & Alehouse.
